How ChessDocs works with chess literature
Sources
The material on this site is based on chess books, above all Soviet-era editions. Every edition used is listed on the Sources page, and each article links to its source at the bottom of the page.
Book covers are shown on the source pages only to identify the edition in question.
Games, positions, and ideas of play are not protected by copyright (Art. 1259 § 5 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). Quotations are given for teaching purposes, with the author and edition named, and no longer than the purpose of the quotation warrants (Art. 1274 § 1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).
Rightsholder enquiries
The site is non-commercial and educational. If you hold the rights to a work and believe the material has been used incorrectly, write to dragunovartem99@gmail.com — it will be corrected, given a source reference, or removed at your request.
